2018 Federal Crop Insurance and Funding Opportunity Highlights from the Risk Management Agency

Summary
Federal crop insurance helps producers recover after severe weather and manage other business risks. Coverage is available for nearly every commodity, including fruit, vegetable, and organic, with crop specific plans or the Whole-Farm Revenue Protection policy. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Risk Management Agency (RMA) will give an update on 2018 crop products and funding opportunities under the Risk Management Education Partnership Program and the Crop Insurance in Targeted States Program. Current award activities throughout the region will also be highlighted.
