Summary
An increasing number of farm families are faced with the decision of what to do with the farm family business. Many are chosing to transition the it to a successor but do not know how to do this and are turning to Extension Educators for help. The Center for Dairy Profitability and the International Farm Transition Network have developed a farm business facilitators manuel to assist Extension Educators in aiding farm families in the development of a viable farm business succession plan.
The manual will be introduced and the topic covered discussed. There will be an opportunity for a Q and A about use of the manual and how the manual may be obtained.
