Marketing mixes can be tricky. Some markets are great and profitable, while others are a challenge. Figuring out the right mix can be a significant contributor to long-term success. MyMarketProfit, a tool from the Center for Farm Financial Management (CFFM), walks users through the process of evaluating the profitability of a producer’s marketing mix. MyMarketProfit allows growers to quickly enter information on sales, marketing, labor, production and overhead costs to determine the profitability of the markets in their marketing mix. Armed with the knowledge about market profitability, producers are empowered to make informed decisions about their business and marketing strategy.
