Negotiation is a critical business management skill. Whether you are negotiating with customers, employees or family members there are specific strategies and planning tools that can help move the process forward in a positive direction.
This popular workshop was developed for women farmers and ranchers to help them develop critical negotiation skills necessary for effective business management. It is also practical for educators and service providers interested in learning basic negotiation strategy.
In this session we'll review the basic objectives of the workshop and review some of the key obstacles women encounter in negotiation. Participants will take home a set of workshop materials (including the worksheet developed to walk farmers/ranchers through negotiation basics) so they can offer the workshop if they choose to do so.
