The two main objectives of this fact sheet are: 1) to explain a method for reducing some of the uncertainty with cattle prices when the sale will occur months in the future; and 2) to introduce web-based, decision-support tools that can help Hawai‘i cattle producers quickly analyze the potential returns and risks from various retained ownership alternatives.
